Privacy Policy
Your account, connected sources and how your information is used.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Parsora is operated by Cihangir Analytics Consultancy Ltd., Company No. 09597715, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 565 Green Lanes, Haringey, London, England, N8 0RL. VAT No. 252185318. We are responsible for account, website and service-administration personal information. Where we process connected analytics on an organisation’s behalf, that organisation remains responsible for its own source-data permissions and obligations. Send privacy questions, rights requests or requests for information about our processing arrangements to support@parsora.ai.
2. Information we process
- Account information: your name, email address, authentication identifiers and organisation or property associations.
- Google connection information: OAuth credentials, granted permissions, connection status and the Google Analytics properties, Google Ads accounts, Search Console sites and Merchant Center accounts you authorise or select.
- Connected analytics: Google Analytics reporting and configuration data; and, when you enable the relevant connection, Google Ads performance and account-configuration data and Search Console search-performance and available site-health data. We use these for analysis, data-health checks, Deep Dive, Monitor, Parses and supporting evidence. Preview connections are processed on the same basis.
- Merchant Center data: When you enable Merchant Center, Parsora reads product catalogue entries, availability and sale-price information, Google product eligibility and issues, product performance and available price benchmarks. Dated catalogue observations support comparisons over time; they do not establish units sold or reconstruct earlier stock levels.
- Connected store and marketplace data: ikas and Trendyol connections process the selected store or seller identifier, encrypted access credentials, orders, products, discounts, refunds and available stock information. Trendyol analysis also uses available commission, shipping, other charge and settlement records. These records support analyses, evidence and business history. Parsora does not modify your stores or orders through these connections.
- Service records: business context you enter, generated analyses, PDFs, analysis history, usage and credit records, feedback and technical diagnostics.
- Billing records: Paddle customer, transaction and subscription identifiers, purchase details, currency, amounts, tax, status, billing periods and event records used to manage your access. Paddle collects payment and billing details through its checkout; Parsora does not receive your full card number.
- Website and support information: requests and technical information needed to serve and secure the site, optional measurement information if you consent, and messages you send to support.
3. How we use information and our lawful bases
We use account, connection, analytics and billing information to provide the service you request, prepare analyses, manage paid access and answer support requests. Our basis is performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate interests in providing the service to the organisation you represent. We use proportionate operational records for our legitimate interests in security, troubleshooting and preventing misuse. We process records needed for legal, tax or regulatory obligations on that basis. Optional website measurement and optional human review for research rely on consent, which you can withdraw.
4. Google data and limited use
Google Analytics and Search Console permissions are read-only. Google’s standard Ads permission permits both reading and changes; Parsora uses it only to read reports and account configuration, not to create ads or change campaigns, bids or budgets. Google’s Merchant Center permission permits product management. Parsora uses it only to read catalogue and reporting data; it does not change products, feeds or prices. We use data from the sources you authorise to provide and maintain the connected analytical service. We do not sell Google user data, use it to serve advertising or build advertising profiles. We do not use it to train general-purpose AI models. Human review for product research or improvement requires your explicit opt-in; limited access may otherwise be needed for an authorised support request, security or legal obligations.
Parsora’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
5. Service providers and sharing
Google Cloud provides application hosting, databases and analytical processing. Cloudflare delivers the public website and related network services. Google provides authentication and connectivity to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Search Console and Merchant Center. If you allow optional website measurement, Google Tag Manager loads measurement tags. Providers receive the information needed for their roles; we do not sell personal information.
Shopify handles billing for plans approved through Shopify. Resend delivers transactional email when enabled, processing recipient and message content. Paddle acts as merchant of record for other paid purchases and processes buyer and payment information under its own Privacy Policy. We exchange purchase and subscription information with Paddle to manage access, refunds and billing support. We may disclose information where legally required, to protect rights or security, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.
Optional Claude and ChatGPT connections
If you authorise an external AI connection for a business, Parsora shares the information requested through that connection with the selected service, such as Anthropic’s Claude or OpenAI’s ChatGPT. This can include performance figures, analysis findings, supporting tables and relevant business settings. Provider login credentials and API secrets are not returned by these tools. The connection uses your current Parsora business permissions and does not authorise changes to connected campaigns, products or orders.
The external service handles information under its own terms, account settings and retention arrangements. Personal and business plans can differ; check the applicable training and sharing settings before connecting client or confidential business data. Disconnecting in Parsora stops future access but does not delete information already retained in an external chat. Contact that service for its deletion controls. Only connect a business whose information you are authorised to share.
6. International processing
Parsora’s current Google Cloud deployment processes application and analytics data in the United States. Cloudflare, Google and Paddle may process information in other countries. We do not promise UK-only or EU-only storage. Where required, international transfers must be covered by appropriate lawful mechanisms and safeguards. Contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your data.
7. Retention, disconnecting and deletion
We retain account and connected service data while needed to provide the service. Disconnecting a source removes its stored connection credentials. The Google Analytics disconnection also attempts to revoke its Google grant. Saved analyses may remain. You can revoke Google permissions directly in your Google account.
Use the available account-deletion controls or contact support to request deletion. Shared-workspace requests require care to protect other users’ data. Cached analytics, backups, logs and records kept to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes may need separate handling and may not disappear immediately. We retain these only as long as needed for those purposes. Contact us for details or a deletion request covering your connected analytics.
Paddle retains its own transaction records under its policy and applicable obligations. Deleting your Parsora account does not automatically erase Paddle records or cancel a subscription. Cancel paid subscriptions separately before deleting your account.
8. Cookies and website measurement
The marketing website stores your cookie preference in your browser. Optional Google Tag Manager measurement is blocked until you choose “Allow measurement”. If allowed, tags may process page visits, interactions and browser/device information and use cookies or similar technologies. Choose “Reject optional” to continue without those tags. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice; rejecting after acceptance reloads the page to stop further optional tags. Your browser controls can remove any remaining third-party cookies.
The Parsora application uses session and other necessary technologies to authenticate you and operate account features. Paddle’s checkout has its own privacy and cookie information. The marketing-site preference controls measurement on this site, not the independent services’ settings.
9. Security and your rights
We use access controls, encryption for stored Google credentials and other technical and organisational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of personal information, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the relevant local supervisory authority. Contact support@parsora.ai if you would like us to address a concern first.
10. Changes
We will update this page when our processing changes and provide additional notice where required. The date above identifies this version.

Optional manual product-quality research
Parsora may offer an optional checkbox before a free Deep Dive asking whether the Parsora team may manually review that Deep Dive and its archived PDF for product-quality research. This is opt-in. Leaving the checkbox unticked does not affect your review or access to Parsora.
We do not treat use of the service alone as permission for manual product-research inspection of an individual customer's report. Limited operational access may still occur where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, support requested by you, or legal obligations.
Google Merchant Center
If you choose to connect Merchant Center, Parsora uses Google's https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content permission. This permission supports reading and writing Merchant Center data; Parsora uses it only to read your selected account's product catalogue, prices and reported availability, product and account issues, and available Shopping performance reports. Parsora does not change products, feeds or account settings. Availability represents the Merchant Center feed and is not a complete warehouse inventory.
We store selected account identifiers, encrypted connection credentials, collected evidence and derived findings to generate Monitor reports and maintain business history. Collection is bounded; available fields and reporting coverage vary by account. Disconnecting this source stops future collection and removes its stored connection credentials; saved reports remain subject to the retention and account-deletion provisions above. Google Ads, Search Console and Merchant Center data are used to provide the requested Parsora features, not sold or used for advertising. Our use and transfer of Google API data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Shopify sign-in and connected stores
When you choose Shopify sign-in, we use Shopify to verify your identity and show the store and account you are about to use. A new store owner can create a Parsora account and choose a Business. Existing Parsora users explicitly link their accounts. Shopify staff do not automatically become Parsora Business owners.
A connected store is identified by its Shopify Shop ID and domain, alongside its Parsora Business ID. We process store name, currency and time zone; order IDs, dates, status, totals, discounts, taxes and refunds; and product and line-item identifiers, titles, quantities and amounts. We use these records to calculate sales and product performance, check data quality and generate reports. Order records remain protected customer data even when they contain no customer contact fields.
Our reporting queries do not request customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers or postal addresses. Merchant account identity is separate from shopper information. Shopify privacy notifications may include customer contact fields; our handler discards those fields and retains the identifiers needed to fulfil the request. We request read access to orders, products, inventory and minimal customer records and do not use it to edit your store. The history available depends on the permissions Shopify grants.
We also process dated inventory observations: product and variant references, SKU, tracking status, location identifiers, and available, on-hand, committed and incoming quantities. We use these to describe current stock coverage and availability. A snapshot does not establish historical stockouts or lost sales.
For customer analysis, we process a hashed Shopify customer identifier, record dates, lifetime order count and spend with currency, and Shopify customer groups or predicted spending tiers where available. The hash supports linking records and fulfilling privacy requests; hashed identifiers remain protected customer data. Lifetime summaries can cover a longer history than the order details available to Parsora. We keep missing customer statistics and unknown first/repeat order classifications explicit rather than treating them as zero. Order source and originating-app information provide channel context but do not by themselves verify a marketplace or first-ever acquisition source.
Our Shopify read scopes are read_orders, read_products, read_inventory and read_customers. We do not use these permissions to edit the store. Initial order collection stays within standard recent-order access; Parsora does not request older-order access during initial setup. Useful collected history and dated snapshots are retained to support ongoing analysis, subject to applicable deletion requests. The initial import window is not a rolling deletion limit.
We encrypt stored store-access credentials. Short-lived credentials used to verify Shopify sign-in are not persisted. We also keep store-link and permission records, and subscription status, plan identifier, billing period and trial information to verify feature access. Shopify handles Shopify plan approval and payment; this integration does not collect payment-card details.
Disconnecting or uninstalling stops further collection through that connection and invalidates its Parsora access. It does not by itself delete your separate Parsora account or every saved report. We process Shopify customer and shop deletion notifications to erase the affected stored data. Reports containing affected data may be removed rather than retained as permanent snapshots. Shopify customer-data requests are made available for authorised merchant export and require a confirmed delivery step; we do not automatically email customer data.
We retain limited request identifiers, hashes and outcomes to record deletion and prevent erased data from being restored or collected again. Our restore procedure reapplies recorded erasures before restored data is made available. Copies already downloaded or delivered outside Parsora are outside our direct control. For access or deletion help, contact support@parsora.ai.
